想像我對你的忠誠和依賴;

Death in Disguise

Life is as much a way of living as a form of dying.

In the first phase, cells multiply, grow old, give way to new cells
at m. cells per nano second.

Whilst entering the second phase,
The growth decelerates
Because old cells have taken the helm,
Banning newbies from regenerating.
They have nothing but one innocent wish:
To live to the fullest,
Without accepting the fate of infantile death.

The more they strive,
The weaker they get.

This is when fear comes in.
So strong Is the desire to live,
That in time the fear blinds them,
Tricking them to form an army,
Pit against allies,
For unwelcome aliens,
Whom have been mistaken.

Each battle won, some casualties claimed.
They have no choice, but to keep fighting.

Until the very last moment,
So startled are they,
now only very few of them,
To realize,'twas they themselves,
Who had this coming.

After all, for this being to live on,
Inevitable it was for them to early decease.

New Leaf

Today I turn a new page,
Without any preFace
Without any bookMARK, groping
Through my own thoughts,
Free of finger pointing, judgement,
Need for justification, or
Fear to lose, to be obligated, to let down;

Whereas the infinity in dreamland,
Awakens to a repeated cry,
For rejuvenated vibrancy,
Return of feelings, blunted rationality, and
Internal teeny sparkles that once was unwithered flames.

Sweet Toxic Burden

At first, 'twas like a Choco Factory,
Gushing out the sweetened 'nectar,'
Kids developed a sweet tooth
As melted treats pass through the esophagus, with remaining temperature warming the heart as well as the stomach.

Soon, it was found to be a jail without bars;
Yet hardly any kid can escape. The warm temperature engraved their memory for good. Since then,
They were expected to mould a castle, a palace, or even better a Babylon Tower out of the toxic substance, which they could neither afford nor dare to dream of a decline.

The inner desire of freedom prompted a few to struggle a bleeding way out, although traumatized body and soul may take an entire life to heal. They roam and roam until finding others at large.

Some others remained perplexed how a lovely wonderland could suddenly turned into a physical burden and a mental house arrest. And ''too much thinking'' will eventually turn them schizophrenic, according to doze prescribers.

Still others were long too addicted to having any second thoughts. Digesting what they do not need and completeing the dull tasks with which they are bequeathed seem as if mothership calling.

有些姿態優雅,享受自由來去的風;

也要穿過天際;

if work were play

If work were play,

Construction workers would carefully lay the Lego bricks of Potter's Hogwarts,

Janitors would be anxious to scrub,
To ease their OCD-triggered impulse cleaning desire,

Lecturers would enjoy the show and tell
As much as their audiences,

Surgeons would sew the sutures in the body of Frankenstein with excitement,

Reporters would be the hero/ine left to describe the epic quest,

But again, that's when work is play.
