If only I could afford

I'm willing to give as much as I can afford.

But how much can I afford?

That I don't know. 

If it is time, I have only 12 hours;

If it is kindness, I have a little more than received;

If it is sympathy, I have a profound well, which I'd rather not possess;

If it's company, I can't help keeping a scarce few, at least at one time;

If it's love, I'm still exploring the limit, if there is any.
